ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES

Typical (but not limited to) list of services provided:

 

DRAWING

  • Field Work: Survey and verify architectural spaces
  • As-Built Drawings: draw existing architectural conditions
  • Conceptual Design: translate ideas into 2D and / or 3D representations
  • Design Development: Develop sketches for permits and Government approvals
  • Permit Drawings: Evolve drawings and details to show technical information and code compliancy for permits and Government approvals
  • Tender Drawings: Progress drawings for pricing
  • Construction Details: Draw details for fit-out and construction
  • Presentations: Renderings and photo realistic images as well public presentations

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Government Co-ordination: Liaise with Government Officials regarding permits, revisions and code requirements
  • Consultant Co-ordination: Liaise with professionals, engineers, contractors for solution options in design / build construction
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding options for finishes, appliances, furniture, materials, and other products. Research and source as needed
  • Specifications: Compile specifications and cut-sheets for construction
  • Documentation: Organize priorities, document, provide status updates, and notation of project
  • Fit-Out: Liaise with contractors, quantity surveyors, engineers, electricians, plumbers, sub-trades, installers and vendors
  • Site Meeting: Participate / lead site meetings as required
  • Project Administration: Compile inventory lists for installation of Owner supplied and Contractor supplied items, make calculations where necessary, prepare specification booklets and schedules, record deficiencies and issue punchlist for occupancy
  • File Administration: Plot drawings, prepare documents, complete forms and make deliveries
  • Submission: Launch applications including drawings and documents for Planning Permission, Building Permits and Revisions and other required approvals
  • Scheduling: Schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas
